Quran 10:51 — Yunus, verse 51

Will you believe in it, when it actually happens?’ It will be said, ‘Now [you believe], when [before] you sought to hasten it?’
أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ ۚ آلْآنَ وَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
athumma idhā mā waqaʿa āmantum bihi āl'āna waqad kuntum bihi tastaʿjilūna

- Will you, then, believe in it [only] after it has come to pass -[on the Day when you will be asked, `Do you believe in it] now, after having [contemptuously] called for its speedy advent?'

- Then is it that when it has [actually] occurred you will believe in it? Now? And you were [once] for it impatient.
