Quran 12:85 — Yusuf, verse 85

They said, ‘By God! You will ruin your health if you do not stop thinking of Joseph, or even die.’
قَالُوا تَاللَّهِ تَفْتَأُ تَذْكُرُ يُوسُفَ حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ حَرَضًا أَوْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْهَالِكِينَ
qālū tal-lahi tafta-u tadhkuru yūsufa ḥattā takūna ḥaraḍan aw takūna mina l-hālikīna

- 'By God,' they said, 'thou wilt never cease mentioning Joseph till thou art consumed, or among the perishing.'

- Said [his sons]: "By God! Thou wilt never cease to remember, Joseph till thou art broken in body and spirit or art dead!"

- They said, "By Allāh, you will not cease remembering Joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish."
