Quran 27:68 — An-Naml, verse 68

We have heard such promises before, and so did our forefathers. These are just ancient fables.’
لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا هَـٰذَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنْ هَـٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
laqad wuʿid'nā hādhā naḥnu waābāunā min qablu in hādhā illā asāṭīru l-awalīna
