evil ones bar people from the right path, even though they may think they are well guided.
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
wa-innahum layaṣuddūnahum ʿani l-sabīli wayaḥsabūna annahum muh'tadūna
