Quran 47:26 — Muhammad, verse 26

they say to those who hate what God has sent down, ‘We will obey you in some matters’––God knows their secret schemes.
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لِلَّذِينَ كَرِهُوا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ سَنُطِيعُكُمْ فِي بَعْضِ الْأَمْرِ ۖ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِسْرَارَهُمْ
dhālika bi-annahum qālū lilladhīna karihū mā nazzala l-lahu sanuṭīʿukum fī baʿḍi l-amri wal-lahu yaʿlamu is'rārahum

- That is because they said to those who were averse to what God sent down, 'We will obey you in some of the affair'; and God knows their secrets.

- [they do turn their backs on it] inasmuch as they are wont to say unto those who abhor all that God has revealed, “We will comply with your views on some points.” But God knows their secret thoughts:

- That is because they said to those who disliked what Allāh sent down, "We will obey you in part of the matter." And Allāh knows what they conceal.
