Why do they not turn to God and ask His forgiveness, when God is most forgiving, most merciful?
أَفَلَا يَتُوبُونَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
afalā yatūbūna ilā l-lahi wayastaghfirūnahu wal-lahu ghafūrun raḥīmun

- Will they not turn to God and pray His forgiveness? God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.

- Will they not, then, turn towards God in repentance, and ask His forgiveness? For God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

- So will they not repent to Allāh and seek His forgiveness? And Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.
