Quran 8:10 — Al-Anfaal, verse 10

God made this a message of hope to reassure your hearts: help comes only from God, He is mighty and wise.
وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
wamā jaʿalahu l-lahu illā bush'rā walitaṭma-inna bihi qulūbukum wamā l-naṣru illā min ʿindi l-lahi inna l-laha ʿazīzun ḥakīmun

- God wrought this not, save as good tidings and that your hearts thereby might be at rest; help comes only from God; surely God is All-mighty, All-wise.

- And God ordained this only as a glad tiding, and that your hearts should thereby be set at rest-since no succour can come from any save God: verily, God is almighty, wise!

- And Allāh made it not but good tidings and so that your hearts would be assured thereby. And victory is not but from Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.
