The disbelievers should not think they have won; they cannot escape.
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَبَقُوا ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُعْجِزُونَ
walā yaḥsabanna alladhīna kafarū sabaqū innahum lā yuʿ'jizūna

- And thou art not to suppose that they who disbelieve have outstripped Me; they cannot frustrate My will.

- And let them not think - those who are bent on denying the truth -that they shall escapee [God]: behold, they can never frustrate [His purpose].

- And let not those who disbelieve think they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allāh].
