Quran 9:98At-Tawba, verse 98

Some of the desert Arabs consider what they give to be an imposition; they are waiting for fortune to turn against you, but fortune will turn against them. God is all hearing and all knowing.

وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَنْ يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنْفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ الدَّوَائِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

wamina l-aʿrābi man yattakhidhu mā yunfiqu maghraman wayatarabbaṣu bikumu l-dawāira ʿalayhim dāiratu l-sawi wal-lahu samīʿun ʿalīmun
