Quran 21:26 — Al-Anbiyaa, verse 26

And they say, ‘The Lord of Mercy has taken offspring for Himself.’ May He be exalted! No! They are only His honoured servants:
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَانَهُ ۚ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُكْرَمُونَ
waqālū ittakhadha l-raḥmānu waladan sub'ḥānahu bal ʿibādun muk'ramūna

- They say:' 'The All-merciful has taken to Him a son.' Glory be to Him! Nay, but they are honoured servants

- And [yet,] some say, “The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son”! Limitless is He in His glory! Nay, [those whom they regard as God’s “offspring” are but His] honoured servants:

- And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants.
