Quran 23:110 — Al-Muminoon, verse 110

But you kept on laughing at them: so intent were you on laughing at them that it made you forget My warning.
فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰ أَنْسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنْتُمْ مِنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ
fa-ittakhadhtumūhum sikh'riyyan ḥattā ansawkum dhik'rī wakuntum min'hum taḍḥakūna

- But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them.
