Quran 3:123 — Aal-i-Imraan, verse 123

God helped you at Badr when you were very weak. Be mindful of God, so that you may be grateful.
وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنْتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
walaqad naṣarakumu l-lahu bibadrin wa-antum adhillatun fa-ittaqū l-laha laʿallakum tashkurūna

- and God most surely helped you at Badr, when you were utterly abject. So fear God, and haply you Will be thankful.

- for, indeed, God did succour you at Badr, when you were utterly weak. Remain, then, conscious of God, so that you might have cause to be grateful.

- And already had Allāh given you victory at [the battle of] Badr while you were weak [i.e., few in number]. Then fear Allāh; perhaps you will be grateful.
