Quran 3:89 — Aal-i-Imraan, verse 89

Not so those who afterwards repent and mend their ways- God is most forgiving and merciful-
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
illā alladhīna tābū min baʿdi dhālika wa-aṣlaḥū fa-inna l-laha ghafūrun raḥīmun

- But those who repent thereafter, and make amends -- God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.

- But excepted shall be they that afterwards repent and put themselves to rights: for, behold, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace.

- Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.
