Quran 30:10 — Ar-Room, verse 10

Later the evildoers met a terrible end for rejecting and [repeatedly] mocking God’s revelations.
ثُمَّ كَانَ عَاقِبَةَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا السُّوأَىٰ أَنْ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَكَانُوا بِهَا يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
thumma kāna ʿāqibata alladhīna asāū l-sūā an kadhabū biāyāti l-lahi wakānū bihā yastahziūna

- Then the end of those that did evil was evil, for that they cried lies to the signs of God and mocked at them.

- And once again: evil is bound to be the end of those who do evil by giving the lie to God’s messages and deriding them.

- Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allāh and used to ridicule them.
