Quran 4:143 — An-Nisaa, verse 143

wavering all the time between this and that, belonging neither to one side nor the other. If God leaves someone to stray, you [Prophet] will never find a way for him.
مُذَبْذَبِينَ بَيْنَ ذَٰلِكَ لَا إِلَىٰ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ وَلَا إِلَىٰ هَـٰؤُلَاءِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلًا
mudhabdhabīna bayna dhālika lā ilā hāulāi walā ilā hāulāi waman yuḍ'lili l-lahu falan tajida lahu sabīlan

- wavering all the time -- not to these, not to those; and whom God leads astray, thou wilt not find for him a way.

- wavering between this and that, [true] neither to these nor those. But for him whom God lets go astray thou canst never find any way.

- Wavering between them, [belonging] neither to these [i.e., the believers] nor to those [i.e., the disbelievers]. And whoever Allāh sends astray - never will you find for him a way.
