Quran 4:164 — An-Nisaa, verse 164

to other messengers We have already mentioned to you, and also to some We have not. To Moses God spoke directly.
وَرُسُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَرُسُلًا لَمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ ۚ وَكَلَّمَ اللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا
warusulan qad qaṣaṣnāhum ʿalayka min qablu warusulan lam naqṣuṣ'hum ʿalayka wakallama l-lahu mūsā taklīman

- and as [We inspired other] apostles whom We have mentioned to thee ere this, as well as apostles whom We have not mentioned to thee; and as God spoke His word unto Moses:

- And [We sent] messengers about whom We have related [their stories] to you before and messengers about whom We have not related to you. And Allāh spoke to Moses with [direct] speech.
