He warned them of Our onslaught, but they dismissed the warning-
وَلَقَدْ أَنْذَرَهُمْ بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ
walaqad andharahum baṭshatanā fatamāraw bil-nudhuri
