Quran 9:15 — At-Tawba, verse 15

and remove the rage from their hearts. God turns to whoever He will in His mercy; God is all knowing and wise.
وَيُذْهِبْ غَيْظَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
wayudh'hib ghayẓa qulūbihim wayatūbu l-lahu ʿalā man yashāu wal-lahu ʿalīmun ḥakīmun

- and will remove the wrath that is in their hearts. And God will turn in His mercy unto whom He wills: for, God is all-knowing, wise.

- And remove the fury in their [i.e., the believers'] hearts. And Allāh turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allāh is Knowing and Wise.
