Quran 19:69 — Maryam, verse 69

We shall seize out of each group those who were most disobedient towards the Lord of Mercy-
ثُمَّ لَنَنْزِعَنَّ مِنْ كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحْمَـٰنِ عِتِيًّا
thumma lananziʿanna min kulli shīʿatin ayyuhum ashaddu ʿalā l-raḥmāni ʿitiyyan

- Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful;

- and thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious:

- Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence.
