God blights usury, but blesses charitable deeds with multiple increase: He does not love the ungrateful sinner.
يَمْحَقُ اللَّهُ الرِّبَا وَيُرْبِي الصَّدَقَاتِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ أَثِيمٍ
yamḥaqu l-lahu l-riba wayur'bī l-ṣadaqāti wal-lahu lā yuḥibbu kulla kaffārin athīmin

- God blots out usury, but freewill offerings He augments with interest. God loves not any guilty ingrate.
- Muhammad Asad
- God deprives usurious gains of all blessing, whereas He blesses charitable deeds with manifold increase. And God does not love anyone who is stubbornly ingrate and persists in sinful ways.
- Sahih International
- Allāh destroys interest and gives increase for charities. And Allāh does not like every sinning disbeliever.
