Quran 23:70 — Al-Muminoon, verse 70

Why do they say he is possessed? He has brought them the truth and most of them hate it,
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ بِهِ جِنَّةٌ ۚ بَلْ جَاءَهُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ
am yaqūlūna bihi jinnatun bal jāahum bil-ḥaqi wa-aktharuhum lil'ḥaqqi kārihūna

- Or do they say, 'He is bedevilled'? Nay, he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse from the truth.

- Or do they say. “There is madness in him”? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest!

- Or do they say, "In him is madness"? Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse.
