Quran 25:31 — Al-Furqaan, verse 31

but We have always appointed adversaries from the wicked, for every prophet: Your Lord is sufficient guide and helper.
وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِرَبِّكَ هَادِيًا وَنَصِيرًا
wakadhālika jaʿalnā likulli nabiyyin ʿaduwwan mina l-muj'rimīna wakafā birabbika hādiyan wanaṣīran

- Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper.

- For so it is that against every prophet We have set up enemies from among those who are lost in sin: yet none can guide and give succour as thy Sustainer does!

- And thus have We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals. But sufficient is your Lord as a guide and a helper.
