Quran 27:86 — An-Naml, verse 86

Did they not see that We gave them the night for rest, and the day for light? There truly are signs in this for those who believe.
أَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
alam yaraw annā jaʿalnā al-layla liyaskunū fīhi wal-nahāra mub'ṣiran inna fī dhālika laāyātin liqawmin yu'minūna

- Have they not seen how We made the night for them, to repose in it, and the day, to see? Surely in that is a sign for a people who are believers.

- for, were they not aware that it is We who had made the night for them, so that they might rest therein, and the day, to make [them] see? In this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who will believe!

- Do they not see that We made the night that they may rest therein and the day giving sight? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe.
