Quran 3:169 — Aal-i-Imraan, verse 169

[Prophet], do not think of those who have been killed in God’s way as dead. They are alive with their Lord, well provided for,
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ
walā taḥsabanna alladhīna qutilū fī sabīli l-lahi amwātan bal aḥyāon ʿinda rabbihim yur'zaqūna

- Count not those who were slain in God's way as dead, but rather living with their Lord, by Him provided,

- But do not think of those that have been slain in God's cause as dead. Nay, they are alive! With their Sustainer have they their sustenance,
