Quran 34:5 — Saba, verse 5

But as for those who work against Our Revelations, seeking to undermine them, there will be a torment of painful suffering.
وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُولَـٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِنْ رِجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ
wa-alladhīna saʿaw fī āyātinā muʿājizīna ulāika lahum ʿadhābun min rij'zin alīmun

- 'And those who strive against Our signs to void them -- theirs shall be a chastisement of painful wrath.'

- whereas for those who strive against Our messages, seeking to defeat their purpose, there is grievous suffering in store as an outcome of [their] vileness.

- But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature.
