and said, ‘Are we to forsake our gods for a mad poet?’
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُو آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَجْنُونٍ
wayaqūlūna a-innā latārikū ālihatinā lishāʿirin majnūnin
