Quran 40:45 — Al-Ghaafir, verse 45

So God saved him from the harm they planned. A terrible punishment engulfed Pharaoh’s people;
فَوَقَاهُ اللَّهُ سَيِّئَاتِ مَا مَكَرُوا ۖ وَحَاقَ بِآلِ فِرْعَوْنَ سُوءُ الْعَذَابِ
fawaqāhu l-lahu sayyiāti mā makarū waḥāqa biāli fir'ʿawna sūu l-ʿadhābi

- So God guarded him against the evil things of their devising, and there encompassed the folk of Pharaoh the evil chastisement,
