Quran 26:61 — Ash-Shu'araa, verse 61

and as soon as the two sides came within sight of one another, Moses’ followers said, ‘We shall definitely be caught.’
فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَى الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ
falammā tarāā l-jamʿāni qāla aṣḥābu mūsā innā lamud'rakūna

- and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!'

- and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: “Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!”
